Volunteer Doctors Receive Citizen's Award

Short Description:
Dr. Kienzle and Dr. Mark Honored By Phoenixville Mayor

Two of The Clinic's volunteer physicians were honored at Phoenixville's 11th Annual Citizen Recognition Award ceremony.  W. Steven Mark, MD and G. Edward Kienzle, MD, received awards from Mayor Leo Scoda for their contributions to the local community as volunteer physicians for The Clinic.

Dr. Steven Mark is the former chief of staff at Paoli Hospital, and started volunteering at The Clinic in 2004, soon after his retirement.  In addition to working one day each week at The Clinic, Steve also serves on the Clinic board of directors.  Dr. Ned Kienzle has been volunteering here since 2003, after retiring from private practice as a pediatrician.  A former Army doctor who worked as a flight surgeon, Ned is comfortable seeing "children" up to age 30.  Congratulations to both on these well-deserved awards.
