How to Volunteer
Dear Prospective Volunteer,
Thank you for expressing an interest in volunteering at The Clinic. Volunteers are the heart of our organization. We are extremely fortunate to have over 140 volunteers who regularly provide over 13,000 hours of medical and clerical services to The Clinic each year. Every day our volunteer nurses and physicians treat patients with dignity and respect while giving them top-notch care. Volunteers are supported by nine full-time and three part-time staff members.
There are many opportunities for you to contribute your time and talent toward our mission. Physicians, nurses, behavioral health counselors, clerical/reception and administrative support are all utilized every work day at The Clinic. For more information about volunteer opportunities, click here.
As a first step to becoming a volunteer at The Clinic, please complete our online volunteer application below. Choose "Volunteer Application" for administrative/clerical volunteers, and "Healthcare Volunteer Application" for healthcare provider volunteers.
All clinical volunteers must have a current medical or clinical license that is applicable to their profession.
As of October 15, 2021, all Clinic volunteers must be vaccinated for COVID.
After submitting your application, please allow approximately one to two weeks of processing time. You may then be contacted to arrange an interview.
As a volunteer, you will become a member of a dedicated team that provides the highest quality healthcare to uninsured patients. Through the generous gift of your time, talent and personal interests, you will supplement the work of staff members by offering many special services that are so important to our patients and their families, as well as The Clinic staff.
